Oh boy do I have a quickie challenge for you today. This week I’ve been all about fat blasting workouts aiming to look my best for my vacation coming up. I’ve got my workouts planned and my bags packed; now can I just leave already?
Not without one last fat blasting workout, and of course, a hard one.
This workout is a little different from most, because instead of performing many reps of one exercise, this workout is about performing one rep of each exercise, while continuously moving through the exercises.
Of course I decided to challenge myself not only with these killer exercises, but by facing the clock. This is a timed, 5 minute AMRAP workout (as many rounds as possible) and it doesn’t even take the full 5 minutes to get your butt whipped!
Cardio on a treadmill….who needs it? 😉
+ Gymboss Interval Timer
+ a set of Dumbbells
+ Exercise Mat
PRE WORKOUT WARM UP: Full Body Warm Up
Set your timer for a 5 minutes.
Complete one rep for each of the following exercises….
DUMBBELL PUSH UP
alternating DUMBBELL ROW
SQUAT & SHOULDER PRESS
…without any rest, continuously moving from one exercise to the next. As soon as you squat and shoulder press, get back down on the ground and start back at another dumbbell push up.
Keep going until the 5 minute timer goes off. No Resting!

I really tried to make a full gif for this workout but my photoshop wouldn’t allow me to make so many layers. I decided to go with two gif’s this way you can still see the movement between the exercises.
Maybe one day I’ll be able to figure out a way to make my gif’s better. I think they look pretty cool and are perfect for beginners, and to show exactly how the exercise is done. If anyone has any tips for me, I’m totally all ears; I’d really like to figure out the crappy quality problem I seem to constantly have. 😉
