If there is one workout I would skip….it’s abs. I really don’t like working abs. When I’m at the gym, I do hanging knee raises, weighted cable crunches and sometimes I’ll do oblique bends, but I never really go to the gym, grab a mat and workout.
Out of the past three years of having a gym membership, I don’t remember doing my full workout on the mats.
Funny, cause when I’m at home, I will grab a mat and do a quickie workout like this. No thoughts about it, it just happens. Maybe I feel since I’m at the gym, I may as well take advantage of the weight section? Or maybe too many people are around and I feel silly rolling around on a mat for 10 minutes? Or maybe it’s because I usually workout in a sports bra and don’t really like rolling around on the mats where people sweat like crazy and don’t clean up after themselves?
I really don’t know, but I’m leaning more towards the weight section as being my answer.
