Intense might not even be the right word….I’d say more like, a killer muscle burn to your upper body and core! Just look at my face in the above picture? Are you ready for this workout? or does that look scare you off? Haha!
These pictures are old, old, old. I took them in 2014….ok so maybe not that old. (Am I old?) Because I feel like these pictures were taken like 5 years ago…..(ok, don’t answer that old question that slipped…)
Ahem, anyway, these pictures were actually taken in 2014 during my trip to Cuba with my husband and since I don’t want to break my two workout a week rule, and I still don’t have new pictures, I went through some pictures of an old workout program I had put together for when I went on my vacation. It was awesome because those workouts were a total body burner and didn’t use a single piece of equipment.
Yesterday I pulled these pictures from the workout program and put this workout together to do at home. At first I thought I’d go it circuit style, but then high rep just felt right. So be ready, because these reps are no joke……! Just like all that sweat building up on me in these pictures, Cuba is freaking hot! #LoveIt
+ an exercise mat (or if you’re in Cuba, a towel will work just fine) 😉
Complete the following reps for each exercise without any rest.
But take those water breaks when you need them!
50 SHOULDER PUSH UPS
20 KNEE HUG CRUNCHES
25 INCHWORM PUSH UPS
20 SIDE PLANK TOE TOUCH (on each side)
40 KNEE TO ELBOW PLANK
50 PLANK SHOULDER TAPS (alternating sides after each tap)
40 ROTATING PLANKS (alternating)
100 PLANK JACKS
50 TRICEP DIPS
40 LYING LEG RAISES
Yeah those lying leg raises in the end were kinda brutal. I’m not going to lie. But I’m sure soon enough you’ll experience the warm burning sensation within your upper body and core, then we’ll be on the same level.
