All over the internet, people say it takes 21 days to create a habit. For some, that could be untrue, and what I believe is that it takes at least 4 weeks (or more) to really create a habit that you will continue to keep going with.
As of this week, we are all reaching that point of working out consistently at least 4 – 5 times a week for 4 weeks! I know I’m feeling it AND seeing it. I’m waking up energized each day and walking around sharing a smile with everyone. I’m even fitting into a pair of shorts that I tried on a few weeks back that were wayyyyy too tight across my bum.
Not no more tho! 😉
This week’s workout plan is a 4 day plan. Friday is a holiday (Heyyy Canada Day!) and I’m heading out on Thursday for some camping fun. Since I’m leaving pretty early Thursday morning, I’m skipping the weights and going for a 15 minute run.
Running you say?
I think this whole running thing is beginning to have some pull on my mind. It’s like my good ol’ days of sprinting are coming back. The love. The feeling. The sweat. The heart pounding. It’s all worth it.
Every single moment of it.
Who knows, I might even end up having a run (or two) while camping next weekend. And if that happens then I’ll end up doing some bodyweight cardio exercises too….like burpees, jump squats, side lunges, low jacks…..and more! 🙂
Each morning I will post the workout of the day.
